Wheels or heels ?
It's saturday morning and the weekend is here again ! I'll be 2 days closer to ORD by the end of this weekend~! lol sorry just can't get my ord date out of my mind.Anyway I was travelling back in a cab with my campmates yesterday and invariably the topic of cars came up. We were all discussing when would we be able to each afford our own cars. I said like I'm gonna get my own car about 2 years after I start working. My other campmate Ryan then said "buy car so early, where got money to get married ?" And another guy Jason said " ya lor, buy car already surely no money to get married one"
Being the more materialistic and the only happily single one among the 3 of us, i said "den dun get married lor". And they kept quiet after that LOL. Sorry Mum, but i would really prefer a car.
Anyway back to topic. For guys, which would you choose ? Would you choose to get a car early and push back marriage for a few years or would you put romance in 1st place and get a car later ? I'm sure different people will have different opinions on this, as illustrated above. In my case however, I would feel planning for a car is much simpler as only you have to do the work. A relationship takes 2 hands to clap and me lacking in many social skills will probably find it easier to lift my own hands than to get someone else to lift hers.
Do not be mistaken, I am not lamenting about the fact that I don't have a gf. I'm just comparing the 2 and I choose the car instead.
