It's been awhile since i last updated.... so here I am !!Went out with Derek and Jinsheng last last Sat(21/12) for a KTV session.. Yeah only 3 of us and I'll tell you why now..
Jinsheng sms-ed around asking if anyone wanted to go KTV. Derek who was with Kangli watching movie at that time replied that both of them would be going.. And me, being the more "chin cai" one also agreed. Therefore, Jinsheng booked a room for 4 pple. The package was $72 for 4hrs (4pm -8pm).
I met JS first since derek and kangli were still watching the movie and will be late.. Derek said he'll be there at around 4.30pm so me and JS went into the room first. However by 4.45, they were still nowhere to be found... That one still ok, den Derek arrived at 5pm.. JS then asked him where's Kangli.. Imagine our horror when he replied "Oh he say he not coming liao, he want to study".
How can three people sing through FOUR HOURS of KTV ?!?! Somemore each of us has to fork out more money to cover Kangli's part. But we still did make it through anyway, albeit almost losing our voices lol.. After that we went for dinner and Kangli joined us. I then told kangli " eh u put aeroplane ar, say want to come den never turn up".
Kangli: "I never said I was going."
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jinsheng and me then questioned derek coz he said both of them were going.. Imagine his reply..
Derek: "If i tell you all that he not coming, then u all won't go already wat."
!!!!!!!!!!!!! again.. Isn't that the point ?!?! If there are only three pple den go for wat ?
Ok den nvm, after dinner we went up to Cineleisure to buy tickets for Death Note 2. After buying the tickets, we den decided to play pool coz there were a few hrs to kill before the movie started.
Kangli said dun play in cineleisure coz it was expensive and so we went out of the building. Derek then asked us "where u all wanna play ? Turn left cheaper but quite far, turn right nearer but more expensive."
I suggested the nearer venue coz i also lazy to walk so far. Imagine my reaction when Derek led us to Monster Cue in Meridien. Anybody who frequently plays pool knows that Monster Cue is one of the most expensive places to play. $10.80 for one hour. I was like "u make us walk so far just to come to a place which is more expensive than Cineleisure's K-Pool ?"
Derek: "I told you all here more expensive wat, u still suggested coming here."
OMG! I then replied "Yes, coz i assumed that anywhere u bring us would be cheaper than K-Pool coz that's y we stepped out of Cineleisure in the first place isn't it ?". Anyway since we walked all the way there already so there's no point in debating further. So we played pool till around 11+ before we went back to catch Death Note 2.
It's quite a good movie imho and you should catch it if you have the time. The ending was quite touching and I almost didn't want Kira to die coz he's too smart to die so early buahahaha.
