Finally everything's out of the way

I've finally submitted my applications for the Australian Universities at the open house today. Wanted to submit earlier but my agent told me that if I submit today at the open house, the application fees would be waived.

So down I went for the open house today and it was packed with people. I wanted to enquire some things about Melbourne U but the queue for it was exceptionally long. So I decided to just submit my applications and get everything out of the way.

Since the applications fees were waived, I applied for a number of universities to try my luck and see if I can get into any one of them. But my preferred choice would be Melbourne U lah, I hope i can get into it man. If not I'll just go to Monash, it would be the more realistic option.

The results of my application will only be known in about a month's time or more, according to the counsellors there. After that, I'll then have to apply for accomodation.

So till then, take carez !

Facts of National Service

Came across an interesting post in HWZ forum for National Service. Take a look at page 2 post #24. As someone who experiences the SAF's system of working everyday, I tend to agree with him. Combat personnel who doesn't understand how the SAF operates might disagree with him. But to me, his post depicts the SAF in its bare-nakedness.
