Taiwan Trip I
Finally !! I've got the pics from my recent Taiwan Trip and there are 481 photos in all mind you. Of course I wun be posting ALL of them here. We flew Jet Star so that we could spend more money at Taiwan. The difference is like $300/person. But only when I boarded the plane did I realize how budget it was. A word of advice though, do eat your fill before you board the plane. The prices of the food on board is outrageous. $3 for a can of coke. But anyway, that's y the price of the air ticket is so cheap isn't it ?Look at the space between my legs and the seat infront!! An ant could barely squeeze through!!

The air-conditioning was bad too. If we could open the windows, we would have done it lol. But then again, 一分钱,一分货. After roughly 4 hours. We finally reached our destination.

Taipei's Airport

So after we checked out of the airport, our tour guide took us to our hotel to rest for the night. Our tour starts the next day.
Our hotel!

And look what's right opposite our hotel. A nightclub!! LOL

Anyway since we haven't had our dinner, we decided to walk around to search for food and also look around the vicinity of our hotel. Apparently our hotel is located near town, therefore there's alot of shopping centres around.
Night pics of the area around our hotel.

Even though the cars here are much cheaper than those in Singapore. Cars are not the main mode of transport in Taipei.

After walking around and not knowing what to eat because there are so many restaurants around, we decided to have dinner at this curry restaurant.

I ordered curry pork chop rice. Nice!
Got cheese inside the pork chop one.

The food in Taipei is relatively cheaper than in Singapore. A meal in a restaurant like this could easily cost you about $18-20 in Singapore. However over there, it only costs about $12-14.
After dinner, we continued walking around just exploring the area. But more or less everywhere looked the same. We walked on for awhile more before returning back to our hotel.

The toilet. Got bath-tub somemore

That marked the end of my first day in Taipei. More updates in the future.
