the Need For Speed

I got a new game for my psp!!

This game absolutely rOx !! Almost everyone in my camp is playing it now.. You can even play against yr friend through wiFi.. And there's even a lamborghini to unlock now.. Cars to unlock include the RX8, Subaru STI, Skyline, Nissan 350Z, Audit TT(a cute car), Ford Mustang and the Lamborghini..

It's a story based game and you'll have to conquer 14 cities to complete.. You can even recruit "wingmen" to assist u in the game.. Wingmen are your assistants and they'll race together with you.. There are 3 types of wingmen who u can recruit.. The assassins, the drafters and the brawlers..

Assassins will speed out in front of you and your opponents and lay down a spiked strip that will temporarily incapacitate any vehicle that drives over it. However, you'll have to be careful not to drive over the spikes too or you'll end up with the same fate. Brawlers will take out whatever car you've targeted; drafters will move in front of you and let you gain a speed boost if you can position yourself behind them..

All in all, it's quite a good game and I would recommend it to any car fanatic lol.. I'm having trouble keeping my hands off my psp because of this game now hahaha..

I guess it's time to move on...

So I took the bus back from Tampines Interchange today.. I hardly take the bus back coz i hate Tampines as it's always damn crowded.. Normally I would drop at Simei and walk back..

Another thing about taking a bus back is that I would pass by her house.. And everytime I would be reminded of her.. Everytime the bus passes by that stop, I would steal a glance at the stop and hope that she's there to take the bus..

A couple of times it actually happened and my heart did skip a beat when i saw her board the bus.. However I did not have the courage to actually go up and talk to her.. Not even a simple acknowledgement that I noticed she's there.. "Stupid" you say, but i'm just happy that I saw her..

I remember when I met my friend to study for the O levels in Tampines Library.. While looking for a table to study in the research room, we saw her studying there too.. My this certain friend who knew that I liked her immediately chiong to that table to sit lol.. After that my friend smsed me "Happy rite ??" hahaha... While studying, my mp3 player was repeating Jay's - Kai bu liao kou song coz it really summed up what i was feeling at that time.. As such, everytime i play that song would remind me of her..

She did not board the bus today, but I've been thinking to myself every since we passed that stop.. "What is this you're doing? She has already made it clear that it's impossible between u 2.. Why are u still thinking about her? If you're doing something about it den it's still not that bad, but you dun even talk to each other anymore.."

It was then that I realized how foolish I've been all these years.. For close to 5 years since she told me that, I've been holding on to something that's impossible.. You know the email u receive when somebody accepts your friend request in friendster? I have kept hers since February 2004.. I have no idea why i kept it in my email.. I just didn't want to delete it..

Well but I guess it's time for that to change..

The feeling of being a poly student all over again

Ok.. So I finally dragged my lazy ass back to Ngee Ann Poly just to certify my certs after months of procastinating LOL. Apparently Monash was afraid that pple would change their grades when they photocopied their certs. Hence the need to certify it at the institution. My laziness had nothing to do with the fact that I lived in Tampines and my school located at Clementi. No really, it didn't matter one bit.

Anyway I went there in the afternoon and it was raining cats and dogs and hamsters and rabbits. I was expecting to get drenched when i reached NP coz the last time i was there, there were not many shelters in the school. But... Surprise surprise !! When I reached NP, there were actually shelters!! Why did they wait till after I graduated you'll have to ask them. Not only that, there's a street soccer court there now ! omg.. WHY NOT EARLIER ?! I could have played there during my time man.. What a difference a year and a half made.. C'mon it's not like I graduated 5 years ago rite ?

I tried my best to act like a poly student when I reached the school and I think I did it quite well. hahaha ya noe the t-shirt and jeans + a sling bag across yr body shit.. The only difference was that I noticed I looked older than the rest which can't be helped. I already had this "chao lao" face on the first day of school. One of my classmates actually thought I was the senior there helping out in the orientation -.-

Anyway I managed to certify my certs without much of a hassle and the kind guy there even provided me with an envelope to keep my certs. Less than fifteen minutes and everything was settled. I then went to City Hall to meet yuting to catch The Prestige.

Since I completed my stuffs early in NP, i reached City Hall earlier than scheduled. I then decided to walk around Raffles City to see if there was anything I could get. I browsed through Levi's, Esprit, Royal Sporting House and Bossini but nothing caught my fancy. In the end, I went to Robinsons and managed to get a T-shirt from there. After that I went to meet yuting before walking to Marina Square for the movie.

Town area is really empty during weekdays afternoons. For the first time, I walked through CityLink without the usual human congestion. As usual, I had to guess my way through Marina Square to locate the cinema. Luckily we didn't get lost along the way LOL.

The Prestige's a good movie imho. The plot was good and there were alot of twists to the story without the confusion that usually comes with it(eg. Black Dahlia and Infernal Affairs 3). It was like Infernal Affairs 3 which moved back to the past at times. However, there was no need to inform the audience that it was in the past as I could automatically understand which was the past and which was the present. It was amazing at how smoothly this movie went, it practically just flowed through.
